As a freelance filmmaker, I love to travel, direct, shoot and edit a variety of projects—including commercials, documentary/news, wedding films, events. My video work has been screened on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and earned a Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America.
An example of my documentary-style work, Sriracha has been called ”gorgeously shot” by the San Francisco Chronicle, and has been written up by many news organizations:
- The Huffington Post: “Prime for a documentary”
- Quartz: “Sriracha gets the cult documentary is deserves”
- Los Angeles Daily News: “The hottest movie of 2013”
- New York Magazine: “The epic story of Sriracha”
I studied film at New York University, earned a Masters in Communication from Illinois State University, taught video production at Millikin University, and previously produced video for State Farm, a Fortune 50 company.
I’m based in Bloomington, Illinois, where I serve local clients, but I enjoy traveling for exciting projects.
